The Wild Myrtles - singers of rare and beautiful songs: Director:  Frances Cockburn

Edinburgh-based a cappella group the Wild Myrtles was formed in February 2007.  There are six of them:  Aimee, Alison, Colleen, Frances, Holly and Sari.  They sing songs from all around the world - old songs, new songs, happy songs, sad songs – from places as diverse as Scandanavia, Eastern Europe, Africa, USA and Britain.

They’ve been performing for just over a year now, to glowing reviews!

Spirit of Voice Festival, Galway: Fest'n'Furious Festival, Dundee:  St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh: The Lot, Grassmarket, Edinburgh: Out of the Blue, Edinburgh: Columcille Centre, Morningside, Edinburgh: Leith Fm radio: Leith Folk Club -as well as in various open mic events
