Details for the Sunday afternoon concert have now been finalised. While all the 2008 programme is family-oriented, Sunday afternoon's concert is a PARTY particularly geared to familly groups and the very modest pricing reflects this.(see Tickets section.)
At 12.30, the popular MONDAY SWING BAND (even though it's Sunday) will provide a laid back atmosphere with their Big Band Swing music from the 1930s.
At 2.00, we have DIWAN with their lead singer, SAMBA SENE - you can weave to the jazzy grooves, beats and rhythms of Senegal. CROSS BORDER BAND follow with their inimitable Celtic repertoire and their collection of songs and tunes will be extended by their special guests invited to join them for the occasion.
And the party atmosphere will be complete with the Latin American carnival music of BEATS of BRAZIL. And of course, we have a bar and barbecue to complement the music. |
